Roadways Container Logistics
Roadways Container Logistics approached ConvergeOne to look at implementing a next generation telephony system to save costs and improve service. At the time Roadways used BT FeatureNet which they found to be expensive and rigid in terms of flexibility and features. ConvergeOne proposed a totally new IP telephony system based on Cisco Communications technology. Further cost savings were leveraged by using SIP trunks for outside connectivity to one of ConvergeOne's partner providers. The solution was rolled out to 170 users over seven sites.
ConvergeOne's solution has not only reduced the overall cost of telephony, it has reduced future costs associated with Moves, Add and changes along with providing many more features inclusive in the price such as Unified Communications and Integrated Messaging. ConvergeOne have lead the project from the beginning, owning the design and implementation plan. This was based around implementing the new system, training users and yet keeping the disruption to the business to a minimum which was a critical requirement.
